SATEC Portable Terminal was Approved after Testing via APSTAR 6D Satellite

April 7th, 2021, SATEC engineer took KarrySat portable terminal to the Hub of APT MOBILE SATCOM LIMITED in Shenzhen. April 8, SATEC KarrySat portable terminal successfully passed a series of strict tests and became one of the approved communication equipment in the APSTAR 6D high-throughput satellite communication system. 

APSTAR 6D satellite is the first Ku-Band HTS satellite in China, and have full coverage of visible range, mainly in the Asia-Pacific region, China, East Asia, Southeast Asia and other areas with dense business using spot user beam coverage; wide user beam is used to cover areas with sparse population and sparse service. The whole satellite communication capacity is about 50 Gbps. There are 6 main Teleports: Beijing, Xi 'an, Perth, Shenzhen/Hong Kong (sharing the same Gateway beam), Kuala Lumpur and 2 backup pass stations: Dali and Kashgar. Data backup and redundancy are supported between each Teleport, which greatly improves the security and reliability of the system.
