At the symposium, Sichuan Pilot introduced the principles, characteristics and application scenarios of satellite communication in detail and emphasized the important role of communication technology in emergency response. The forest fire control representative of Hailar District listened carefully to the knowledge of satellite communication and carried out exchanges and discussions on relevant technical issues.

 Then SATEC carried out a demonstration of forest fire prevention and fire fighting scenario communication support with light portable satellite communication terminals and hand-held ad hoc network terminals. The combination of light portable satellite communication terminal and hand-held ad hoc network terminal can provide reliable and stable network access for fire fighters and provide stable communication guarantee for forest fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue work by using the characteristics of satellite communication single point access in the operation area without signal coverage and the advantages of wireless ad hoc network terminal that can quickly form a network connection without terrain restrictions.
